Join our team of volunteers who bring to life one of JCC Krakow’s major annual fundraising events: Ride For The Living! Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to learn new things, meet people from around the world, gain invaluable experience in event planning and give back to the community! Get involved with JCC Krakow and make a meaningful contribution to the life of our city!

If you are interested in Jewish culture and you would like to get to know Krakow’s diverse and thriving Jewish community better, the time is now. Volunteer at 2018 Ride For The Living and celebrate the revival of Jewish life in Krakow together with us!

What is Ride For The Living?
Ride For The Living is a 55-mile (90 km) bicycle ride that starts in Auschwitz-Birkenau, a place of remembrance and sorrow, and finishes at JCC Krakow, a place of hope, where we are working towards a brighter Jewish future and a stronger Jewish presence in the city. This is a transformational and one-of-a-kind experience that brings together all generations of Krakow’s Jewish community as well as participants from different countries across the world.

2018 Ride For The Living will take place on June 29rd.

What are volunteers' responsibilities?

  • coordinating Riders during pit stops;
  • assisting with catering;
  • helping Riders with any problems that they may have on route;
  • providing emotional support to Riders (cheering them on and encouraging them along the way).

What are our requirements?

  • good command of conversational English;
  • strong interpersonal skills.

What do we offer?

  • experience in event planning and organization;
  • an opportunity to network with people from all around the world;
  • certificate of completion for participating in the volunteer program.
