Guided walking tour of the former Krakow Ghetto. Open to the public

As part of the program of events commemorating the anniversary of the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto, we invite you to a free walking tour with a licensed tour guide. On this tour, you will visit places connected with the history of the foundation, operation and liquidation of the Jewish Ghetto in Podgórze. You will see the most important buildings, monuments and squares, which became places of suffering for the city’s Jewish residents during World War II. During the guided tour, we will talk about the most important people in the history of the Krakow Ghetto, heroes such as Oskar Schindler or Tadeusz Pankiewicz, as well as about ordinary denizens of the Ghetto and their fate. The tour will include Podgórze, Plac Bohaterów Getta (the Ghetto Heroes Square), the last preserved fragments of the Ghetto wall, Oskar Schindler's Factory Museum and the Eagle Pharmacy.

Starting point: Plac Bohaterów Getta (the Ghetto Heroes Square).
