JFK - Exhibition of graphic art by Jan Feliks Kallwejt
Author's exhibition by Jan Feliks Kallwejt which presents his newest, not yet presented works.
Opening of the exhibition: May 9th at 8 pm
The exhibition will be shown from May 9th until June 6th 2010.Known for his unmistakable illustrations which have been published in numerous publications both in Poland and abroad, Jan Feliks Kallwejt has prepared a new, solo project titled "JFK". The exhibition will consist of new works which have not been presented earlier, which all together will create one, multithreaded story.
As a known and well respected graphic designer, Kallwejt shows his works quite often. The style of his works only seems to be visually simple – in fact a limited palette of colors and a contour drawing hide several layers full of detail and meaning. Kallwejt creates complex, dense pieces which are inhabited by weird creatures, muted plants and urban motives. The graphics are also full of absurd humor which are also fulfilled with delicate perversity.
The author's exhibition of works by Jan Feliks Kallwejt will be on display at the Jewish Community Centre.
